Steps to ruin

These crumbling steps on Cherry Street have been shot several times but never made the cut, partly due to me and my fluctuating skill when it comes to manual focus. Today, it was spot on; well, as spot on as I could get it.

I debated whether to show it in color or B&W for quite a while. I think the brown of the leaves adds to the sense of decay and so color won.
