(M)any umbrellas, (m)any umbrellas......

Come rain come shine we headed up to town after my haircut and some lunch. A shorter train ride than the usual 40 mins because the train was delayed and so then had to miss out the next five stations to keep on schedule! So we were at London Bridge in no time. (Must book to go up The Shard very soon. Missed an opportunity in the summer and time never stands still.....)

We began our amble in Borough Market which was its usual wonderful, vibrant self. Then on to Leadenhall Market...which was closed! Passed a piazza which has these colourful umbrellas. Most appropriate for the drizzly weather and for the PINK campaign for BCAM! Thank you SweetArt! Blip sorted.

On to Charing Cross and Shaftesbury Avenue to grab a late theatre booking but decided to visit China Town instead and enjoy its very lively atmosphere and a meal.

Home on a slower train with lots of others who had had a very happy day by the sounds of things!!
