Eshaness

This is the west coast of Shetland up near the lighthouse at Eshaness. It's a particularly spectacular part of Shetland and when the westerlies start to blow in, it produces some really really dramatic waves - I've been there when the waves are actually blowing right up over the cliffs which is impressive but terrifying too!

I love this part of the island - there's so much beauty and splendour there, and so much variety depending on the weather.
