Grown-up wings
Two and a half weeks since I was last at Blackford Pond, and the cygnets are slowly growing bigger, and are also changing in other ways too - you can see that this one's wings are well-developed, also that it's beginning to grow the knob above its beak and the beak is changing shape. My, how they've grown since May.
T and I saw two little grebe young and one parent. One of the black-headed gulls was showing too much interest in one of the young for our liking.
Finally up to date with blips following my holiday in Spain - what a relief!
