Honest2Goodness

I went to the Honest2Goodness market today to have a look and was pleasantly surprised at the variety of goods available and though I wanted to buy lots of pieces I resisted the urge. I did purchase meats from a butcher who rears his own animals for slaughter and have to say the turf smoked rashers were delicious as were the sausages flavoured with sea salt and cracked peppers. I got a dozen in season sunflowers which surprised me, grown by the sea in Co Louth. I also got a present for a room warming for a friend who has just transformed an unused store room into visitor accomodation. The six inch tall door shown has yet to be painted and placed, on maybe an oak, in the local woods. I was thinking the addition of a miniature rope ladder to the base of the tree might be interesting.....just saying
