"Cosy"

Up extra early to get down to the "flu clinic" for my annual jab. Bit of a conveyer belt situation, fill in form, wait in line, go into Dr with arm presenting, give form to Dr, jab then out! Bit of a queue when I arrived, but moved quickly.

Back home, quick breakfast then him indoors and I went and collected pa-in-law. Off to Curry's to look at microwaves as pa-in-laws had stopped working and this is his main source of cooking. We had talked about combination ovens but he is visually impaired and struggles with digital operating items, preferring turning knobs to indicate watt and time. Purchased microwave then off to Poundland to see if the bulbs are in stock (pa-in-law wants 40 bulbs for a £1!), no bulbs, then to Tesco's to look there but the bulbs would work out to £10 for 40 and didn't want to pay this. Whilst they were in Tesco's, I escaped to Pets at Home and purchased this new bed for Lili. Dropped pa-in-law home and set up new microwave. Did some housework whilst there (!), then back home for lunch.

Lazy afternoon, feeling cold (weather miserable) and sore arm - bed early!

Lili appears to be very happy in her new bed :)
