The Day We Went To Town..

We had a fantastic day today on a visit to London, despite the pouring rain most of the day. We took my Dad and went with the primary aim of seeing the poppy installation and the Tower of London. The poppies were an amazing sight and the Tower lived up to expectations and brought back memories of school trips when I was a child. I have put a selection of other shots in my Blipfolio. The boys loved it and finally the sun came out as we were enjoying a coffee overlooking Tower Bridge when it opened to let the paddle steamer The Waverly pass through. All in all we enjoyed 'The Day We Went To Town'
