Emma left to Espoo to play basketball. Her team competes in B-girls national league's second tryout round. They had two matches today:

Tampereen Pyrintö-01 - HNMKY 29 - 83
Helmi KaPo II - Tampereen Pyrintö-01 46 - 72

So no kids home today, what a strange feeling. Hubby did volunteer work at the home game of Pyrintö's women's team. In the evening we had a walk in the dark city and took some pictures. This one is from behind of the fence of the empty amusement park.

The Wave Swinger merry-go-round has plenty of traditional carousel features and the device’s beautiful ornamental paintings are a feast for the eyes. Nerves of steel are recommended for anyone contemplating a ride, however, as this carousel rises to heights not experienced and passengers will zoom just off the waters of Näsijärvi lake.
