Autumn-ness

Today was the quintessential autumn day, with long shadows and orangey sunlight. A little bit cold but still sunny. Think of the landscapes you could capture if you were out in the country. I did, think of them, as we trudged around a retail park looking for shelves and storage boxes. Not to worry, I'll concentrate on fallen leaves instead. "What's up?" Amanda says as I crouch down by another mangled, brown specimen with my camera and another blundering, shopping family walks into me "I'm photographing leaves," I say. "You're bloody obsessed," she says, like she's only just realised.
