Truly Blippin' Marvelous

The San Damiano Cross in miniature . . . I chose this image because today is the feast day of St Francis. In my dreamy youth I wondered if I might become a friar . . . I had no cathartic eye-opening moment before a cross like this . . . I had not yet lived life . . . and I liked girls got in the way too much . . .

LATER: This is the second time I've done this edit as I left the computer without saving it. Let's see, Saturday is laundry-day; catch up with Bill Moyers-day; did a bit of tiding-up and watched the last of the first and the first of the second Australian TV series: Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries from the books of Kerry Greenwood:

Kerry Greenwood has worked as a folk singer, factory hand, director, producer, translator, costume-maker, cook and is currently a solicitor. When she is not writing, she works as a locum solicitor for the Victorian Legal Aid. She is also the unpaid curator of seven thousand books, three cats (Attila, Belladonna and Ashe) and a computer called Apple (which squeaks). She embroiders very well but cannot knit. She has flown planes and leapt out of them (with a parachute) in an attempt to cure her fear of heights (she is now terrified of jumping out of planes but can climb ladders without fear). She can detect second-hand bookshops from blocks away and is often found within them. From phrynefisher.com.

Oh, yes and I asked a question I've wondered about before. Why do I manage to browse blippers chosen randomly whom I've sampled before? I don't browse at the same time each day and I click before seeing the title on the thumbnail . . .
