Carrots and a ham story

Helpful children peeling carrots for the soup this morning, before Rohan cycled her bike to nursery and only crashed into one child in the playground. After coming home, we had a chat about nursery:
Me: How was nursery today
Rohan: We had bread with ham in it and I ate the crusts
Me: Do you like ham?
Rohan: Yes, I love it
Me: Do you know where ham comes from?
Rohan: Is it from a pig?
Me: Yes, it's the meat of a pig
Rohan: Oooh I don't want a pig to get dead
Me: Hmmm
Rohan: Well, unless it gets dead by a wolf
