Light Night
We spent an entertaining evening in Leeds City Centre at Light Night. The first thing we saw was a cube of multicoloured lights inside the museum, which were computer controlled - the creators were wandering around with ipads letting visitors influence the lights. Next, we watched a stunning light projection onto the front of the civic hall. For a bit of a change we then walked into the church near the St. John's Centre and watched some 16th century music being performed on authentic instruments. We detoured down to the Trinity Centre in the hope of spotting some zombies, but they were hiding from us. Next we walked back up to the Town Hall, and had a wander through the old courtroom and cells, before watching some fire juggling outside the art gallery.
The photo shows flaming torches being spun on the end of string - I liked the silhouette.
