Living Dangerously

Walking back across the fields with the dogs I was horrified to see our builders perched on the roof without any safety equipment whatsoever. They were painting the chimneys with just a rope tied around their middle. I know in some quarters people have turned health and safety into a joke but I have seen so many people's lives ruined by accidents at work. These young guys take such risks even when all the safety equipment is to hand. I had to ask them to leave the chimneys half finished
