Don't Forget to Take Your Meds

Having missed many of the summer artwalks, we opted to venture out tonight to catch the October Artwalk in downtown Bellingham, and a beautiful evening it was for such a stroll.

The variety and breadth of talent in this little town is nothing short of amazing. But the items that really grabbed my attention this evening were these vintage medicine bottles on display. They filled an entire shelf and bore the stains and wear of their age. Interesting to think of the people who had these medicines in their possession at one time, and what ailments might have afflicted them.
