5 year anniversary.

The last 5 years have flown by! And although this isn't a strictly anniversary related blip, Asha is, without a doubt, our greatest achievement.
We started the day with an amazing breakfast at a nearby cafe - eggs and bacon and black coffee! Amazing! It's the first time I've had bacon since moving to Ibiza...it was worth the 8 month wait! Then back to normal life and team meetings...then Asha's first art class at D-Nens. They 'studied' Jackson Pollock today, just unfortunate that Asha's been pronouncing Pollock with a 'b'! Haha!
Friends came to babysit Asha tonight so Danny and I could go for dinner - we went to a beachside tapas place - great food, great ambience, great company...then ended up at THE café, Can Miq. for a late night Caipirinha and a complimentary chupito (shot) of the local drink, hierbas.
Came home to hear that Asha had been an absolute star and been super well-behaved!
A wonderful anniversary with lots of laughing, chatting, food, and drinks. A lot of it thanks to my lovely sister and brother-in-law who ensured we had the funds to have such a lovely day! Thanks Han and Grant, it's been great.
Here's to the next 5 years, and many more still.

Forgot my 'gratefuls'!
1) Friends willing to look after Asha so we could go out, relax, not worry about Asha, and just have a really good time.
2) Sister's thoughtfulness and generosity.
3) Being married to such a kind and thoughtful person...always willing to put others first, always serving and looking after people (often me!), always ready with a joke, always willing to get over a fight and talk things through. There's no doubt that life is better when we're together, even when we're annoying each other! Ha!
