Tramlines, Manchester

I took this shot on Lower Mosley Street, Manchester, whilst waiting for a tram to take me to Old Trafford Football Ground, which has a conference suite where we have been holding our 2-day society centenary meeting (see yesterday). It is interesting that, having ripped up tramlines 50-60 years ago, so many cities have gone back to trams over the last few years.

Whilst it may look like it, I'm pleased to say that I didn't take any risk of being run over whilst taking the photo (well, not much anyway!) .

The 2-day meeting went very well.
