Still Beach Weather

An image like this takes me back to my days as a youngster, when me and my mates would cycle to the beach after tea and play there until dusk ... It seems to me that days like this at the start of October were far more common back then ...

Nowadays I drive down to the beach and take photos instead ... Days like this in October seem to have become far less frequent in recent years ...

In another 35 years I may look back and say, "Look at this picture. It was taken in early October. Back in my fifties I would drive down to the beach after tea and take photos of the lovely sunset. The summers lasted so much longer back then." ... :o)
