Last of the Summer Sky
I glance across at this dramatic building most days when I catch the Metropolitan Line train home, as it's just a few hundred yards along from Great Portland Street station.
No. 350 Euston Road is an office complex designed by architect Sheppard Robson, and it has won several green environmental awards for sustainability of the building, and innovation in energy efficiency and carbon reduction. It's also the place where you can see Antony Gormley's "Reflection" installation.
I've been waiting for the right evening light to create the best reflection of fluffy white clouds and blue sky on this shiny steel and glass structure. Today was probably my last chance this year, because the evenings are rapidly drawing in and the weather is forecast to deteriorate over the next few days into something more typically autumnal than the rather mild, almost summery, temperatures and sunshine we've been lucky to enjoy over the past week.
