Back In Long Beach

We arrived back in Long Beach yesterday, so today, of course, I was back on the beach volleyball court today. What a joy to have hot weather again after two weeks in cool (I won't say cold because our friends would just laugh at us) Washington State. In fact, we arrived here in time for a mini heat wave. The temperatures are expected reach triple digits Fahrenheit inland and top 36ºC on the beach. It was a perfect evening for volleyball, a light breeze, cool sand, and plenty of players. The games were winding down as I took shot and we had packed up the lines and balls by the time the lights came on. One more weekend in the States and then it is back to Mexico and a different form of volleyball.
