Diesel alley

Every town has got one usually placed were the must people big and small can inhale the fumes. But we can all remember when we had BUS STATIONS,but these have largely been sold for development,and the buses crammed on to the streets .
Don't get me wrong i like buses they get you from A to B , you meet some interesting people, and you can watch life pass by, and if there is an upper deck see an entirely different world ,but i just hate Diesel alley, is there an answer?.
