Arnol

An excursion to this small village, famous for its black house museum. The object of my trip was a nearby bird reserve, Loch na Muilne (Mill Loch). It was very cold today, after a hard overnight frost, and ice and snow did not melt. It made the trek across the moor a lot easier in fact. The sun, as shown on this image, was blinding.

Nothing moved at Arnol. A typical Hebridean village, where the only sound was the pounding of the Atlantic in the distance.
