Boston's Haymarket

Friday in Boston means a trip to Haymarket to the fabulous farmers' market that sprouts up (pardon the pun!) there every week all year long on Fridays and Saturdays. The variety and quality of fruits and vegetables can't be beat, and the prices are ridiculously low.

Although there was no need for shade this overcast, chilly day, most stalls were protected by tarps and plastic -- more to keep any passing showers off the wares than to shield them from any stray beams of sunshine!
