Flotilla

I thought I'd better get one more butterfly blip in before the rain and cold arrive tomorrow.

Once we get into October I never know which day will be the last butterfly day of the year, but a flotilla of five Red Admirals were enjoying the in-laws garden today, along with a Painted Lady and Speckled Wood.

Looks like I'll remain stuck on nineteen species blipped of twenty-one seen (Common Blue and Holly Blue being the absent two) for my Butterfly Blips 2014.

A year ago, I was admiring Red Admirals in Arnside.
