Canal Cat

This is a very typical pose of a cat in stalking mode - low to the ground and ears up. This lovely cat greeted me as I crossed the canal bridge at Netherton and then settled down to watch the moorhens on the water. I think it was no more than a passing interest as a watery confrontation would not appeal! I have applied a poster edge filter to give a slightly stylised look to the clean lines of the photograph.
