PULLING ITSELF UP...

...by its bootstraps?

Last evening this crane was apparently complete. It was halfway up, somewhere below the tie that attaches it to the interior structure of the building. "What is point?" I asked myself - this boy's toy will only be able to swivel about 15° before it starts smashing windows!

Wrong. Coming back from work this evening it had shot up another 50m - only another three sections to add a it'll be able to swivel the whole 360° monty!

And if I'm not mistaken they're going to install another tie on the penultimate floor - good thinking!!
