Wet and windy all day, with proper heavy rain. For which we are glad as the bone-dry ground drinks and the perilously low well refills itself.

We were glad of the chance to spend the day indoors, picking up again the decorating started weeks ago and abandoned as it was too nice to be indoors.

So, painting all day and this grabbed from the doorway, showing the gnarled trunks of the twisted hazel and the new view through it into the garden.
