... to the right there's a plume of smoke puffing towards the sky as one of the longest lasting firecrackers I've ever witnessed goes off in front of a hotel. As is the time around Chinese New Year here in Shanghai and all around the country. It's all about who can light of the loudest, brightest or highest flying, a true testimony to one's spirit in the new year! Gong he fa cai!
