Mountain lake

Today it as a club member's birthday so the day was more about the aperitifs and picnic than the hike. We walked about 11 kms on the high plateau above Font Romeu where a lot of athletes do altitude training. The walk through the forest was full of gurgling streams and glades and there were a few mushrooms to be had. Mostly though it was a leisurely stroll with good company and an enjoyable celebration to conclude the outing.
