LIPSTICK & NAIL POLISH - PINKTOBER 3

I was all sorted with my pink blip for today until I went into Boots and bought some drops for my dry eyes. With my change I was given a voucher for £3 off - and I have to confess, I am a sucker for a money-off voucher.

So I went and had a look round the make-up counter - not that I wear it but I do like a bit of lipstick sometimes. Jo, a very helpful assistant, came over and asked if I had been checked for my “perfect” colours. I said I rarely wore make-up but was happy for her to use the little hand-held computer to find out the pigment of my skin etc. and it was quite painless! She then got out several lipsticks that, according to her computer would suit me - nothing like the ones I have bought in the past, but hey, it passed half an hour and she was a lovely lady!

I did find the Manager afterwards and told him what an asset she was to his staff and his comment was “She’s one of my best.” I hope he remembers that when review time comes around!

Seeing all the lipsticks out on display, I saw a PINK blip opportunity so explained it to Jo - she happily fetched lots of nail polish too, so here is my take for BCAM today.

No more news yet about my friend, Nessie, but I am still praying for her - thank you to all those who have joined with me - she would be so grateful.
