A good idea in theory...

...but they didn't exactly think it through! Having a viewing tower here would have been great had they only thought to make it about twice its height so you could actually see a view, rather than just the tops of the trees at closer quarters! The other way you do get a half decent look at the top of the council multi-storey flats, Maybe this was all the budget would run to, in which case they'd have done better if they'd saved it towards fixing the potholes or something!

Anyway, my Dad was allowed home from hospital last night, and is getting settled back in. I hope he listens to advice! I have been on the phone organising for them to have a panic button fitted on their phone today. That will be a bit of peace of mind knowing it's easy to get hold of help should they need it!

Tonight I am at work. It's been a very quiet week, but it is Friday, and people have just been paid so maybe tonight will be better!

And tonight is the Rugby playoff semi-final!! Sky +'ed ready for when I get home! My team could be in the final, ready to be champions again very soon!
