Was Dale
I went through to Finstown to look for the bearded seal I mentioned the other day. No luck so I went for a walk through Binscarth Wood and onto the hill at Was Dale, where I took this. Hoy is in the distance.
On the way back I looked again and got the seal. Not uncommon if you're on Svalbard or in northern Canada, but rare for the UK. It was hauled out with 12 common seals and dwarfed them. They didn't look too happy at this big interloper taking up half the slipway.
I will upload a couple of other pictures here.
