Glass half empty

Another evening where the numbers just didn't show up. What's going on? And pensioners are a cosseted group in austerity mad Britain, I do believe. I suppose that even if they have the dosh to splash around, most of them can't make it down the stairs to the lavs in the Cafe Royal anyway.
At this rate, I'm going to be drinking on my own soon. Luckily I was with some real pals earlier and they bought me a half pint.
