Spring snow

I'm now in Christchurch, have registered for the convention and have a lanyard dangling around my neck (as you do at these events).
I've 30 minutes to tidy myself up and load my blip before the official opening, nibbles, drinkies followed by a speaker.

Took this morning near my home, showing the spring lambs in the paddock and the snow that fell on the foothills this morning. Is this really spring?
They really did look amazing so quickly took a snap on the phone.
