My brother and his fiancée are up in Edinburgh this weekend, staying at my sister's. They were at the Ryder Cup today (check out the matching jumpers! Sad but also kinda cute - apparently not bought together today but given for each others birthdays. Golf people are mad ;) then we all congregated at Claire and Andy's for dinner and cocktails, celebrating Clark and Sarah's engagement a couple of weeks ago, Sarah's birthday today and also Andy's recent promotion.
Clark was totally shattered from being up at stupid o'clock to get there early and battling the crowds all day so he snuck off to bed early and I escaped before things got properly messy (as they are apt to do with my sister when alcohol is involved!) but it was a really nice night and lovely to all be together, it doesn't happen often enough :)
