Got a surprise invitation to lunch, couldn't bring myself to tackle the house again so I jumped at the chance!

That was about the highlight of the day, spent most of it sorting out a credit card debt that Mum had (she's been gone 2 years and neither Dad nor my sister filled in the correct paperwork) and sorting out Dad's pension to make sure he's getting the correct benefits for him.

Put the girls to bed and had my eldest asking for a cuddle and for me to lay down on her bed for a while (which of course I did), but then it made me sad. I always wanted my mum to do that for me, but I have no memories of cuddles at all. So my girls get cuddles, even when they don't want them! Yes, I missed out when I was younger but then so did my mum, but I'm getting plenty of lovely cuddles now. History won't be repeating itself.
