I took a lunchtime walk and thought I'd keep a look out for faerie trees in the neighborhood and see if there were any new arrivals, it's been ages since I've looked. In my wanderings I met this meditating gnome, he looked so perfect in the dappled sunshine.
I noticed the home that is the site of this faerie tree extravaganza is on the market, a For Sale shingle planted in the front yard, the faerie set up is still there untouched and is obviously an important part of the house sale. I was surprised the realtor hadn't insisted it be scaled back or dismantled, but then again this is Portland... ;-)
The weather is just perfect today, 70ºF/21ºC, sunshine and a hint of fall in the air and just a few crisp leaves on the ground.
This is one of my favorite photoblogs, the portraits are wonderful and the stories attached to them are amazing, sometimes hilarious, sometimes heartbreaking. The photographer is currently traveling as part of the UN's Millennium Development Goals.
1000 blips? Oops. That totally snuck up on me! Thanks to everyone who checks in on my various blips and who make this place such a fun place to be. x
