Book cover.

This is one of the books I have won in the Book Quiz (and have not yet read).

The spine is titled, but the cover is only patterned.

There was a bike check on offer at work, so I cycled in. A half hour walk is a fifteen minute cycle, but there are a couple of nasty junctions where the traffic is less than respectful to a cyclist.

Coming home I came a longer route through St Mark's park and passed the recycling centre. Prettier, but no safer. You really have to be switched on and defensive when cycling.

Then by chance someone e-mailed me a link to Danny Macaskill on the Skye Ridge.

For your information the Cuillin consists of eleven Munros in fifteen miles of volcanic ridge.
