From the dark to the light in a yurt!

On route to Khiva, on the ancient Silk Route, we visited a community in an oasis in the desert . People were living in yurts, in the shadow of the 2000 year old ruined desert citadel. The yurts are exquisitely decorated with wall hangings and carpets. We joined the family for coffee. Looking out from the cool, dark interior to the hot, bright desert, I decided this was the blip of the day. From the dark to the light.......
