Friends Meeting House bike shed

Over the last year or so the Friends Meeting House in Norwich has had a bit of a makeover, which has included doing lots of work in the lovely garden, putting in extra bike racks and - as we can see here - sprucing up the bike shed.

It's slap bang in the centre of the city and a popular venue for holding public meetings.. The local People's Assembly use it often, as does the Norwich branch of the Stop the War Coalition and for a time Sing with Pride rehearsed there.

Tonight I was at a session organised by Stop the War on 'Resistance, Strikes and Mutinies' - a talk and discussion around the actions taken by ordinary men and women to oppose WWI.
