Senator Elizabeth Ann Warren

Tonight I attended a fascinating political rally in Albuquerque's Morningside Park. The main speaker was Elizabeth Warren, and boy could she speak. What a brilliant woman and wonderful orator.

Elizabeth Ann Warren is an American academic and politician, who is the senior United States Senator from Massachusetts, and a member of the Democratic Party.

She was previously a Harvard Law School professor specializing in bankruptcy law. Warren is an active consumer protection advocate whose work led to the conception and establishment of the U.S. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

Other speakers included Michelle Lujan Grisham, a Democrat who represents New Mexico's First Congressional District in Congress. Plus Tom Udall, the senior United States Senator from New Mexico.

The rally was to encourage voters to vote in the mid-term elections here in USA on November 4th. They will be voting for state, local and national offices. Senators are elected every 6 years and members of the House of Representatives every 2 years. About 1000 people attended the rally.
