The car was ready this morning, turned out to be a brake problem. We had cancelled the trip to France as we were only going for a few days and by the time we got to our destination we would have had one day before having to come home.

Gofer helped V with several jobs around the garden. It’s a large garden and had been getting too much even before R’s illness. Now V just about manages to keep it looking tidy. The old wooden greenhouse had seen better days and had been replaced but had still been used for storage and propagation. His seat and some of his bits and pieces are still there as gradually the flowers, grasses and brambles make it their home.
