FRONT STREET

Early start this morning - off to Asda for the weekly shop with my friend Jan.

This afternoon I went for a long walk around the village looking for a blip shot. The October Challenge is a word challenge and today's word is STREET.

My photo shows Orchard Cottage in Front Street. I have loved this sweet little bungalow since I was a child. I used to live quite near it when I was growing up. It was the original Toll House for passengers travelling between Hexham and Gateshead. It has been empty and for sale for quite a long time but it was recently sold for £170,000.
