Day 1 of Roadtrip: Sevenoaks to ...?

Following yesterday's failed attempt to get going it was an early start to source the replacement (and shorter) aux belt. This stopped the horrible noises but sadly it means yet another roadtrip without aircon. Not best pleased but this is my own fault (in not getting it regassed earlier).

Arriving a bit early at Folkstone meant being able to get on a slightly earlier train; very useful with the current agenda. Although the plan for today and tomorrow was too great for this to really make a difference. The days merged into one as we drove overnight all the way to Romania.

Fortunately the collection of Beni in Frankfurt meant a third driver, and the joining of the 850 meant a basic 2 car convoy was much better for setting paces and getting around.

The sun had set as we entered Frankfurt, so I'm unsure where midnight came into it all. Nevertheless getting out of Germany was a nice achievement, although the first 1200km today was easily the simplest part of this trip.
