A Shady Character

We were running errands today & passed this old farm. As usual, I exasperated Tom by wanting him to turn around amidst all the traffic & go back, which he did. :) The farmhouse was made of fieldstone & has probably sat in that spot for a hundred years, but it was the barn that most caught my eye. It has certainly seen better days, & the silo looks as if the top may have collapsed a bit, but to me it's weathered wood said "Character".....strength, durability, purpose. Who could resist taking it's picture? Not me! :))
