October, apparently

I worked from home again; the day should have been improved by going out for lunch with a friend who had some time to kill whilst his wife was having a knee replacement, but the op was cancelled at an hour's notice leaving them to return to Fife, feeling somewhat cross. Private medicine, eh?

This is another blip from the kitchen sink. The Streptocarpus saxorum has been flowering away merrily since the beginning of September. And oh, it seems to be October now - how did that happen?
