Mr Straws House

A visit to the rather quirky Mr Straws House near Worksop in Nottinghamshire.
It's owned by the National Trust and is a unique document and a step back in time over 60 years from when the Straw family moved here in 1930 until pretty much what you see now.
My abiding recollection of the house and what makes it really interesting is the amount of hoarding that went on there, they threw nothing away.
They also didn't believe in modernisation.
So what you're left with is a rather unique record of family life from the 30's to the 90's.
Wonderful.
