A sleeping humbug

Alias a white lipped snail.

I went out with my monthly birdwatching group this morning. It was beautiful weather and we saw a flock of long tailed tits, a treecreeper and a pair of jays. They were too fast for my camera or behind leaves so I didn't get any decent shots for a blip. At least the snail stayed still! Home just in time to beat this afternoon's rain.

Tonight I'm going to a talk by a local bird photographer - I'll be able to see how it should be done!!
