Reflecting......

Again, I had to seek a quiet moment at the end of the day, before I could face anyone at home
A coffee and a magazine
No forced conversation or idle chat
No polite talk or banal comments

Mary and I have not had Happy Hour this week as she is not well. The doctor has discovered that she has an enlarged spleen and she was having a CT scan this evening to try and find the reason.
I hope it's something simple

The past few months have shown me, quite clearly, Who I can rely on and who I can't
Who is a true friend and who isn't
True colours have been displayed and I have been saddened and surprised by my discoveries.

Mary has been a rock for me and I hope I have been for her too.
I have everything crossed for her
