Birthday

My beautiful baby turned 16 today! We started the day with French Toast for birthday breakfast before all heading off to work and school. After work and school we had dinner at Cafe Andaluz in the west end (Freya's choice) before heading home for her birthday brownie cake which was part of yesterday's baking extravaganza. Now that she is sixteen I've been thinking about two things: 1. It doesn't feel that long ago since I was 16 and 2. it feels like no time at all since she was born on a Wednesday night at half past ten preventing me from watching Ally McBeal!

She assures me she's had a fab birthday, but there are more celebrations to come in the shape of a houseful of teenagers at the weekend!
