Village Walk
They say that there are two things you should never discuss with someone if you want to stay friends; Religion or Politics. Well, judging by the comments on my Blip yesterday, I think I can safely add a third thing to that list. Mushy Peas. They are clearly a divisive issue and from a very quick review of where the comments came from, I would say there is a clear North/South divide. Perhaps Messrs Cameron, Clegg and Miliband etc. ought to forget about issues such as the NHS and the Economy in the forthcoming election and concentrate their manifestos on a subject that is clearly dividing the nation; Mushy Peas.
And so to today. This afternoon we had a short walk around the village and enjoyed the glorious sunshine and warm weather. It's hard to believe that tomorrow we will be into October. This house used to be a Congregational Chapel but was converted many years ago; although it looks as though it is amongst the trees it is actually on the main road through the village, opposite the road which used to lead to 'The Grange', the local manor house which is now luxury apartments.
